Innovation Program – MCS encourages innovation and originality, so we put our money where our mouth is. We actively invest in programs and ideas that captivate our team, such as our RATLab, where our clever Engineers get together to work on exciting, cutting-edge projects.

Intern placement program – MCS is passionate about developing emerging talent. We have provided multiple University placements for students where they receive hands-on, real-life work experience. Some of our students have even agreed to continue on to permanent employment with us!

Social – MCS appreciates the value that a well-connected team can bring to an organisation. To foster this close-knit culture, MCS hosts social events to connect in informal settings. From lawn bowls to a high ropes course to a quiet lunch, we cater to everyone’s appetite for adventure.

Wellbeing – MCS encourages, supports and provides opportunities for our employees to participate in activities that focus on their personal wellbeing and help to enrich their lives. From supporting trek-4-vets with participation in a midnight to dawn ANZAC Day walk, hosting Big Blue Table sessions for mental health, to meditation and mindfulness sessions in our on-site wellbeing space, we aim to facilitate our team in looking after their physical, emotional and mental health.

Business Functions – Twice a year, the whole of MCS comes together on a large scale to connect. Our Team Building and Caring Day is when we take the opportunity to give back to our community, while our end-of-year Conference is when we reflect on the past 12 months by celebrating the achievements and milestones of the year that has been and look toward what we have planned for the next 12 months.

Professional Development – MCS fosters a culture of learning through encouraging professional growth. To enable this, we offer in-house coaching within our Centres of Expertise, targeted career development plans, and a generous training budget for formal training, participation in career-related conferences, professional memberships, and much more.

Tailored Mentor program – We know that our strength is our amazing people. We use a tailored Mentor program to transfer valuable personal and professional knowledge and experience among our team members.
